Catchlight has designed and managed the NZBeauty EXPO website since 2005, creating the website from supplied branding and print material, and developed it to provide a full informational point for the biennial NZBeauty EXPO event. The site contains timetables, speaker biographies, expo galleries, registration forms, and is updated regularly before, during and after the event.

Catchlight Design are proud to be involved with this high profile & high traffic website and iconic national event. Catchlight were employed in 2009 by Rockquest organisers to help in the re-design and act as a technical project leader for the co-ordination of the many teams involved that create the various aspects of the content rich website each year.


Catchlight Design was employed by the Christchurch Community Arts Council to re-design the website and re-develop a more usable backend system for the CCAC staff administrators. The site features an organic database of local artists that is approved for publication by CCAC staff and is published in the Arts Participation Guide every 18 months. Also, attention was paid to making the site more user friendly and more attractive.


Business Point site owners wanted a completely custom website application to showcase their business listings. The site is built using the Drupal CMS and has a log-in area from which brokerages can sign up and create their own business listings easily. Visitors to the site use the search feature to find a business they are interested in then submit an enquiry to connect with the brokers.


Catchlight helped develop initial concepts to realise That's The Story's vision - an ever-expanding site full of interactive games, original audio stories, photo galleries, video and a business directory. That's the Story is a fun, friendly and colourful experience for all ages.


Pure Trails New Zealand wanted to update their website to have an easy to use content management system as well as dynamic photograph slideshows to show prospective customers the beauty of their tours. Catchlight worked with their designer to create the website's look and feel. It also features secure online booking forms, currency conversion and a news section.


Catchlight were approached to design and build a new website for Bellagio that matched and enhanced the great branding work that had been created. The site has a Content Management System so Bellagio owners can update and maintain the site themselves.


To go with their brand-new state of the art early childhood education centre, the Heathcote Valley Preschool wanted a modern, professional and future proofed website which can be fully content managed by the preschool staff. There are pages and pages of content on the site as well as numerous photos and slideshow animation.


Red Hot Products is an importing business who will be selling the best unique products from around the world to New Zealand and Australian customers. They wanted a fully functional shopping cart webstore that is fully content managed, has useful sales and customer statistics and is able to calculate different shipping and tax rates between the two countries.


Catchlight took the existing Wordpress website, upgraded it and added SEO modules and created a new theme more fitting with the Linwood Law branding.


The brokerage team at Mainland Real Estate wanted a modern new website to showcase their tourism property listings. The new website needed to be fully searchable as well as having the ability for visitors to select multiple properties per enquiry form. All listings on the site are managed and uploaded easily by Mainland Real Estate.


John Appleton stocks a wide range of nutraceutical products and health supplements and wanted an online store solution to manage the many orders he receives. Catchlight created a full shopping cart e-commerce solution and then customised it to suit the particular needs of John Appleton's client base.


Arrow Beauty commissed this website with the view to showcasing PDF product catalogues with the ability for those to be updated on the website in-house at Arrow. Maildrop our Email Newsletter Management system is also used on the site.


Innerswitch is run by Alison Adams, a highly trained, friendly and professional hypnotherapist. It was for these reasons that Catchlight are very proud of the Innerswitch website. The website is fully content managed and features a regularly maintained blog


The Missy G site is an example of how Catchlight used their CSS mastery to completely re-theme a standard Blogger template to fit the Girl School Radio Show style.


In conjunction with software developers Cortexo, Catchlight created wireframes, visual design, CSS and HTML templates for this geneology web application to help families in New Zealand combat recurring health issues. The Whanau Ora website includes a family tree coded entirely using CSS and HTML, without having to use any slow-loading Flash.


A smart and stylish design to suit Courtenay's classy vocal style. The request a booking form is allows visitors to book Courtenay for engagements via the website and a CMS is installed to allow advertising of upcoming gigsvia the homepage What's New area.


Catchlight created a clean and easy to use informational site that makes use of our online catalogue system. The site allows users such as architects and engineers to add PDFs of individual FAAC™ products to an 'InfoCart' which are then emailed to the user when they 'check-out'.


Catchlight's client has the exclusive rights to sell Bruns Tool Holders throughout New Zealand and wanted a website from which the product could be introduced to the market as well as being an online store for the product. Catchlight were asked to create an entire site around this product, including full copywriting and web strategy.
